As a huge fan of Chow Yun Fat minus his suck ass John Woo movies this movie kinda sucked ass. It's like a paycheck movie for him which is unfortunate because he's one of the great import actors from Asia. The rest of the cast really doesn't fare much better and however I'm quite certain that the screenplay is the real culprit......Remember Tales from the Crypt Demon Night, yes that's the only big claim to fame the two writers have........The director....um who the fuck is Paul Hunter and who did he blow to get this job? As far as action 
scenes go, its so obviously wire filmed it's just god awful. Seann William Scott who is better known as Stifler from the American Pie movies is the new sidekick of a Tibetan Monk who protects a powerful scroll from the evil jack asses who want it. Who might they be.......Nazis....God damn Illinois Nazis. However the entire cheese appeal of this movie is an American kung fu flick with some interesting scenes, if you're gonna 
see this I'd watch it on cable or wait till a friend buys it and borrow it....Owning it is kinda painful but then Jaime King is kind of worth the scenery.
